Didn't work for me.

I'm 40 years old and have a few wrinkles starting. This product made me look 45. LOL I tried using it on top of my usual makeup....and that made my skin appear smoother...but accentuated the wrinkles. I'm glad I tried the samples [] instead of spending all that money. I'm glad this makeup works for a lot of people....but it didn't work for me.
Great for evening skin tone!

As a college student, its important for me to feel like i'm looking my best. I use bare minerals every day. It's absolutely wonderful for evening skin tone, but like someone else said, if you layer it, it makes your skin look shiny. When it comes to raised skin, like pimples or scars, it covers fairly well, but leaves shadows on your skin. I don't like to wear a lot of makeup, either, so bare minerals has been wonderful for me. So for people without bad acne, who just want to even skin tone and have a more 'natural' look, bare minerals is great for you.

I love this makeup so much that I have turned on EVERYONE I know to this stuff. I have been using it for the past 2 years. I wouldn't even use a makeup artist for my wedding, I did my own face and everyone raved about how beautiful I looked. I had rosacea and it is completely gone from using this product. My skin looks and feels beautiful. I have EVERYTHING from this line and feel it is the best thing since sliced bread.

I've been using bareMinerals since early August 2006, and it's quite simply the best makeup I've ever tried. Sure, it's a bit pricey, but it doesn't make me break out (as much), and that to me, makes it totally worth the money. Not only does it not irritate my skin, but it also lasts longer than any other powders I've tried (could NEVER use liquids--gross). I understand it's not for everyone, but it works for me!

I'm 30 years old with oily acne prone skin. After using Mac studio fix for 10 years I loved the way it covered but it made me break out. Than I switched to Channel which I really liked but didn't want to spend $46 every other month. So I bought some Bare Minerals and I love it. It covers really well and I have lots of acne scars and discoloration. But there is a trick. I mix a little color powder with the mineral vail, than really blend it in, than I put more mineral vail over it again. It does make me itch a little especailly if I sweat but, I love they way it covers and feels and it lasts all day.

As an esthetican, I have been using Bare Minerals for over a year. I was extremely pleased with it because I don't like the feel of makeup on my skin and, in my industry, it is important to have flawless looking skin. The last month, however, I started having terrilbe acne all over my forehead, around my chin and on my temples. I tried everything I knew from a professional stand point to clear it up, This is the worst acne I have ever had. I was relieved to find others who had similar symptoms. I will now stop using the Bare Minerals in hopes I will have a good report in a few weeks. At 36, acne is all I need. Thanks Bare Minerals.. To all of you, beware for Bismuth... an ingredient that can cause pore clogging in mineral makeups.

I am 56 yrs. old and have been using this product for close to 5 years and have been very happy with it. I have rosacea and it covers it beautifully without looking like I'm hiding something. I've never had any breakouts and highly recommend this product.

I just had to write something because i got the stuff and love it. I even got my family to buy some, even though it's not good for heavy covering it cleared up my face and i even when to bed with it on without any breakout unlike other products(didnt try to). Plus you feel like you have nothing on and thats what i like the best.

I'm not really a "girly-girl" and HATE wearing makeup.. but in the last couple years I feel the need to. This stuff is SO GREAT, you don't even feel like you're wearing make up and it makes my skin look like it did when I was 20! A+++ Product!!

I have used bare minerals for 3 years and love it. I am 48 and always had powders cake in all my lines. This made me look older.This product is not like that . I use the bisque around my nose lines and smile lines, then I apply the makeup.

I really like this make-up. And it's all because of that concealer brush. It really feels like I don't have make-up on, and it evens out my skin tone. My least favorite thing about wearing other make-ups, was that I always felt like if I didn't wear mascara and lipstick, my face was really washed out, but I don't feel the need to wear all that with this, unless I want to. I disagree about being able to sleep in it. I have definitely had more break outs since doing that, and then less once I started washing my face at night, too. I use other brands with the mascara, and sometimes with the eye shadow.

Bare minerals is a lovely product for people who already have beautiful skin. It applys nice and feel good on. but if you're looking to hide imperfections you'll need to layer it and layer it, and layer it till you look you'll be dancing at a disco or on stage. Its very shiny layered on. Not as advertised interms of who they say this make-up is intended for.

I have been using this product for almost 4 years and it is the best ever. I have rosecea (causes very red cheeks and nose) and a dark birthmark on my neck. This product works wonders on both. When I started using it my friends and family wanted to know what I was "doing". My sister's insisted I tell, now they all use it. I suggest you start with the intro-kit, you get the brushes that way. The brushes are expensive if you purchase separately. If possible buy your kit from a store. You need to see the color on your skin. They don't make a kit that works for me, I need medium beige and medium tan. I have been buying different eye shadows, blushes and concealers over the past few years and I have a big collection. But mostly I just use the foundation, warmth and mineral veil. The mascara and lipsticks are average and over-priced.
Works for me!

I have been using bare minerals for 2 years and it is awesome. Started because I broke out in dark spots after my first born. I have dark brown skin and no other products seem to blend well enough but this is amazing. I haven't recieved so many compliments since I was in high school. I would definatley reccomend to any other person who just wants to have flawless looking skin. My only complaint is that it's not for clumsy people. I spill my make-up in the sink all the time.

Remember to clean the brushes! That will help to keep breakouts at bay. I have used BE for over two years & I will never go back to Clinique or other department store brands. I have combination skin & have had trouble w/ breakouts all my life, but BE has made a positive impact for me. Tips: Use a moisturizer before applying your BE makeup, but be sure to let it absorb fully. If you do that & keep the brushes clean, I think you'll be happy w/ this product.

I have always used high quality cosmetics, but never has my makeup lasted all day and it does with Bare Minerals. My makeup still looks fresh at the end of the day. Because I am 60 now, I find that I still need a light liquid foundation over my moisturizer to cover my wrinkles before applying Bare Minerals, but only a little. Lookin' good at 60.

I do not think this product is what they make it seem, It does sweat off on yout phone. It does not cover enough. I even bought the concealer and i feel it is a waste of money.I bought alot of the products and the worst is the basics. The eye shadows are ok.But it is too time consuming.

I have horrible skin..dry in some places, extremely oily in others, acne as well as acne scars. the bare minerals has made my skin look amazing covers the acne scars and has also helped to make my skin look and feel much healthier when im without makeup as well. Will use it to the end of my days!!

I have used this for over 3 years, I have tried other things because of gifts, but every time go back to wonder little minerals, my 12 year old daughter started having break outs, and wanted to cover them, they do NOT cause more break outs, they have IMPROVED her skin, the only thing we have discovered which may be the problem for others they didn't think about is the brushes, my friend had problems, break outs,itching,flakes, we found different brushes, she was allergic to the BRUSHES! not the minerals
