The concept seems good. But i have oil flakey skin. So it sticks around the flakey patches. It looks and feels like baby power cake on my face. You can see it in pictures and it doesn't keep the oil at bay for long at all maybe 20 mins. Save your money if you have mixed type of skin. Also they keep sending me product and charging me. Even after i cancelled.

Bare Minerals foundation is wonderful. I have very oily and acne prone skin. I hate the feeling of liquid makeup. I start off with bisque to cover blemishes, well rested for eye darkness, then foundation, warmth or glee, a little clear radiance, and seal it with mineral veil. Takes about 2 minutes, lasts 1/2 a day, touch ups are needed. The company does have nice travel accessories. I feel as if I have nothing on my face and it truly does cover well and control shine. I am not too thrilled with the eye color, it has a tendency to fleck onto your face but the face products are the best I have ever used and I have been sampling many high end face products for years. The glimmers are a little bit too glittery, OK for teens. I would highly recommend the facial products, especially the mineral veil which is the best mattifier I have ever used.

I dont wear powderever but this stuff works, just make sure to get the right color tone otherwise you will be able to see the powder or tone of it. However it is soft and light and one bottle lasts forever!

I have EXTREMELY oily skin & suffer from cystic adult acne. I normally can't wear foundation, feels too heavy & slides off my face in all the oiliness. I was skeptical, but decided to give bare minerals a try because my stepdaughter recently started using it & was raving about it. So far it's been the best thing I've ever tried. It controls my oil better than anything I've ever tried. It covers redness & evens out skin tone. I would like more conealing, I think I'm gonna look into bisque for that. I apply the mineral veil first, then one to two layers of foundation, then a dab of warmth as blush. I bought the starter kit at [], I did not want to be doing automatic shipments by mail & I wanted to try out the colors in the store first too.

I love the Bare Minerals products. I have been wearing them for about 5 years now and have my mom & sister hooked too! It did take me a while in the beginning to figure how much to buff on, but after that my makeup is so quick to apply. I also love, love, love the eyeshadows. They are the coolest pigments anywhere and they last forever. One thing I noticed for me is that I have to order the light kit in the winter and the medium kit in the summer!

I bought Care Minerals after seeing the infomercial one night. I love it, it's covering but doesn't feel yucky or cakey no matter how much you use. I bought mine at [] rather than the phone number or website cause they send you a kit every 60 days and I didn't want that. The starter kit lasted about 3 months and I just love it. It looks really natural and no one can tell you are wearing make up but yourself!

I like the mineral type makeup quite a bit. The eyeshadow was trickly to learn how to apply, but I've finally nailed it down pretty well. I don't find that it makes my face too shiny...not sure why, but I won't complain. The mineral veil is nice, too, and so is the blush. I use my own mascara, brow color and lipstick. Those I won't give up. Some friendly advice: 1)DON'T leave open jars where you might knock one over while you're putting this stuff on, and 2) check out the sample sizes [] to see if you like how it looks before committing to buy a full size container. I did, and I'm glad I did.

I have been using this for over a year and am still loving it. I purchased the foundation in 5 different shades and can blend them to match my skintone depending on how pale I am in winter or tan in summer. For people getting acne suddenly after using this for awhile, try cleaning the brushes. I have no complaints so far and at 36, have tried many products before settling on Bare Escentuals. The key for me was to experiment with different BE products to get the combo that is right for your skin.

I got this product after some of my friends and family totally raved about. Well when I used it I noticed it didn't cover any of my flaws and it left me looking to shiny well I sent it back and I am now using the best makeup ever SheerCover.

I have been using Bare Escentuals for almost 6 yrs now. The first few years were great because i already had pretty good skin with no problems. Now that Im older though it isnt doing its job anymore. I now have rosacea and a little hyperpigmentation. It won't cover any of those flaws. I look super shiney now when i wear it. It is not a flattering look anymore. It seems to make me break out alot to. I think its time for me to try something new. I just wish i could find something that actually works.

I just started using bare minerals and I must say it surprised me at how well it covered and how non exsistent it felt on my face. You have to have REALISTIC expectations, if you have bad skin it does not make you look like a porcelin doll...no make up on the market will do that. I have blotchy skin and small break outs and bare minerals covered as perfect as one would expect. It is the feeling of "no make up" that makes this product fantastic! If your having trouble with coverage try layering it...I put 3 light layers of the foundation on, then use the concealer brush for break out areas and under the eyes. I then use warmth as my blush, it gives you a stunning glow. Then a moderate layer of mineral veil to finish off. Beautiful!

I'd used MAC Studiofix for about a decade but didn't like the way it looked like a powder on my face and seemed to accentuate fine lines. So I tried BareMinerals. Not sure yet if I like it.... I'm used to complete full coverage. I do like the fact that it's not heavy on my face and in the two weeks I've been using it I think my skin looks better. However, I have a lot of redness in my face and can't quite get it covered with BM. Someone suggested me purchasing 'bisque' for more coverage. That's my next step.

I started using this product in December. I like the fact that it is so light you cant feel it on your face. It covers redness fairly well but dose not cover circles under eyes that well. I use well rested under my eyes and that works better than the foundation. I do not like the fact that when im in diffrent lightings it looks diffrent on my face. If im in a really bright light you can see the powder and it dosnt blend well with the skin tone. But i do recomend this product if you want a light fairly well coverage.

The product does cover redness however it does not last all day long. Mid afternoon, my rosacea is shining through. It accentuates wrinkles to the max, which I do not like. I love the warmth, it is a fantastic blusher. I am only using the foundation as a powder now. The brushes are good quality.

I purchased Bare Minerals through a 2004 Infomercial. I was worried, having never purchased anything through an infomercial before (and being wary of scams); but from order to receipt it went very smoothly. I can't remember what I paid at the time, but I got two Starter Kits and gave one to my sister as a birthday present. We've both been using the products ever since. I could never wear liquid foundation, since I didn't like how it made my skin feel covered in cement. Now, I wear the BE foundation, cover-up and mascara whenever I go out. I've also (accidentally) slept in this makeup, and have had almost no problem with resulting break-outs. It evens skin tone well (pink areas) but isn't as good on age spots (requires 3 or 4 applications to cover). Still, it's the best I've found.

I have been using the product for two months. I have oily skin. I love the cool sheer feeling I get when I put it on. I use the concealer in bisque also and it covers great for a powder. One draw back because I'm 42 the product tends to show my lines more around my eyes. I do look natural and have had complements. ALthough I would like more of a coverage that is not heavy. I tried Dermacia also and it was like putting on frosting! Yuk! I missed my bare minerals and went right back. works for me quite well.

I thought I loved all of it until.. I seen my face in the sunlight. The foundation and especially the mineral veil accentuated and settled in fine lines and made me look older than my 36 yrs-(usually I look younger) But I did decide to keep the kit for the brushes and 2 products I do like.. I use WELL RESTED every day as a concealer for small spider veins around my nose every day and it works great and never comes off until I wash it off-I also like the WARMTH blush-It lasts and lasts!! I'm gonna try some of the other blushes next and I'd love to hear some reviews on the eyeliners. Also I have seborheic dermatitis and this never bothered my skin but neither does Clinique double faced powder which I use instead with no foundation.

this product was great for three days. then i realized under my eyes looked twice as wrinkled since using this product. Then i got a horrible itchy stinging rash all over my cheeks and chin. My skin is so dried up from this makeup, its swollen and painful to touch and i hope it clears up soon. I cant wait to return this product. Hopefully I can get a refund. (I bought the foundation and the mineral veil)

I have red skin and was skeptical that this makeup would cover it. I bought a starter kit at a makeup store in the mall (they would give a refund if you didn't like it) and used it that day. Much to my surprise it covered the red in my face. I've been using it for 2 years now and love it. It is pricey but one container of foundation lasts me at least two to three months (I don't wear makeup if I'm not going anywhere on the weekends). Before I used this product I had small bumps near my mouth and chin but after using this product they disappeared. I'm not claiming a miracle happened but it smoothes out uneven skin tone and does a superior job of covering red. I'm a skeptic by nature but I would highly recommend this product.

I've been using Bare Minerals for about 2 years now and plan to stick with it! It doesn't feel like I'm wearing foundation. I've even had a few people surprised when I said I was wearing makeup- they commented on how good my skin looked. I have to admit that I need a separate concealer for under my eyes - the minerals don't provide enough coverage there. (even after following their guidelines I wasn't happy, so I buy that thru another brand.) I also have to re-apply if I'm going out after work- though just a touch-up. I also like the other products thru this line- they have the only mascara I like. I did NOT buy through the informercial though- I read too many complaints aboiut customer service and didn't want "locked" into a club- I buy from [] mainly and sometimes [].
