I was thrilled the first time I used the bare minerals makeup. It went on beautifully, flawless coverage, just gorgeous, then the burning on my forehead started and itching I thought maybe it's a fluke, so I stopped using the Bare Minerals and no problem. I gave it another try a month later and the very same thing happened. I now have acne scars on my cheeks and forehead. So much for you can sleep in it. My complexion is ruined. I wonder if this has happened to other people or is my skin just ultra sensitive.

I been using this product since Valentines (my hubby gave it to me as a present). I love the product but I had to play with it for a while before I got the complete coverage I need. One I have oily skin and when I put on the makeup everything goes on perfect but in a few minutes once I step outside my face goes on fire. So what I started to do I put moisture on then the Rev. on followed by the make and no more problem. If you have dark circles or lines under your eyes use the beach bisque or regular bisque ( for darker skin tones use a little of you foundation powder and mix in) You can see the difference this has worked for my mother and me and I can say people start to notice how flawless your skin is. Another thing for those that our in between colors when ordering place order first than call them and ask them to change on to your lighter color and the next one mix then and your going to get the best coverage. I hope this helps

My roommate uses this and it works wonders for her and looks great, but I cannnot use it. The lightest shade was way to pink for me and the 2nd lightest shade was way too dark. Maybe if they made more foundation shades instead of sticking to the few they have they can match more skin tones

I am 43 and love this product. I don't use the bare vitamin lotion it seems to make my oily skin oiler. I use the well rested, bisque, foundation and warmth. I also sleep in it with no problems. I didn't like the eyeliner. It was difficult to apply and didn't stay on. I have had a lot of compliments on my skin I started since using it. I have had people think I don't wear makeup since my 43 year old skin looks so great. I covers my under eye cicles and uneven spots very well.

I am 24 and my acne has gotten worse in the last few years. It isn’t a matter of just covering up bumps or red marks – I literally have open sores on my face from constantly picking at them and it is embarrassing and awful to look at. I bought this product two weeks ago and I am thrilled! For me, the biggest benefit is that the acne is less noticeable to me now so I don’t pick at it at much and I am not putting as many other products on my face as I used to. As for the “realities”, this stuff is great but it can’t completely cover open sores or make huge bumps or craters appear to be flush with the rest of the skin. I have noticed my face itching when I get hot and sweaty. It hasn’t been terrible yet but I haven’t worked out or gone tanning with it on yet. I bought this product through a retail store… not the infomercial so I can’t comment on customer service or the membership.

This product is best suited for young, already perfect skin. I have seen this look nice on some people- but it’s not the product for me. Foundation: nIt will exaggerate (rather than cover) any imperfection. It exaggerates every line and wrinkle on your face. The foundation makes even a small pore, look like a crater. Concealer: Does not cover, like they show on TV. Skin over 25 – if you use it as an under eye concealer, it will age your eyes. Eyeliners: Eyeliners are horrible, they flake all over your face. To fix this - they sell you another product – to make the first product work. Eye shadows: Colors go on very light. (I personally like that) If you want a deeper color, a more traditional coverage.; you “foil” the shadow, by adding water and making it into a paste, This causes the shadow to fake off your eyes, and onto your face. Mascara: Don’t bother – overprices and not very good. This product makes my face burn when I sweat. Powder is messy to apply. I do like that the fact that the foundation has an spf 15. If you are considering trying mineral make-up, I recommend that you try a drug store brand first. Before you invest. I didn’t throw it in the trash, but I would not buy it again.

I found the coverage pasty and clumpy. I even purchased the vitamin pre treatment, to no effect. The worst part is it broke my face out Terribly all over. I immediately discontinued use and had to use specialized acne products to get my skin back. It is very difficult to reach the company if you want to return the product.

I am in my 40's, and tried BE, and I love it. It does what the infomercial shows. It took some practice, but you have to remember less is more! People even have commented on how great my face looks. Asking what have I done different! My husbaned noticed! And, the knockoffs at the department stores are not the same. Try it! It is worth it. The best $ I have spent on myself.

I bought this product because my friend had recommended it... i was very skeptical at first. Then when i got it, i ordered the starter kit that came with 2 foundations, the warmth face color, mineral veil, a handy buki brush, flawless face brush, and a complete concealer coverage brush. all of these items were a very good price in the introduction starter kit! this is the best makeup i have ever used and i will not use liquid foundation ever again!

I really like this product. It did work. I have 'normal skin type'. It's easy to put on and stays all day. BE looks natural and a couple friends noticed that I had something different about me. The downer is this: Why do they have to charge so much for colored powder? I'm sure they'e gotten their investment back by now. I know, it's just because 'the market' will put up with it. I do like Bare Minerals enough to use it but, the price $$ is just more than I will pay. []

I love this product. I strongly recommend the base, one of the bisques for cover up, Warmth, and the mineral veil. You can pretty quickly create a very nice foundation with these products. And it really does last all day. If you need coverage I would get the Buki Brush - it takes care of my redness. Just be patient with it - because I was so used to other make up, at first I was thinking, there is no make up on my face. But when I stood back and looked at myself when I was finished, my skin looked great and natural. I also love their eye shadow and everything blends together really well.

I've been using this for over a year now, and am now on my second pot. I can see a great improvement in my skin tone and texture. Being that I'm prone to acne, it doesn't make me breakout by the end of the day like other foundations do. And yes, I have slept in this with zero problems.... it actually shrunk the pimples I did have! Both my sisters, grandma, and mom are wearing this and they love it.

I'm almost 65 years old and have rosecea. I've been using Bare Minerals for over three years now. It is so much better than anything I have ever used. No other makeup has staying power like Bare Minerals. It is just great!

I decided to try this 5 years ago and thought I would give it a 7-day trial. I threw out my other make-up on day 2. This looks wonderful on the skin. There is no line of demarcation on the neck and it doesn't stain my clothing. Everyone says that I don't look my age (60). I would recommend it to everyone. PS My daughter uses it because she thought I looked great!

I'm 64. I have combination skin, rosecea and, yes, lines. I can't feel BE on my skin. It evens out my skin tones. I use mineral veil before the foundtion to help dry the moisturiser and sublock before I put on the foundation. As I've gotten older too much MV does emphasize lines, so I stopped using it over the foundation. MV works great to modify colors of othr products. When I'm hot a sweaty my rosecea will show through anything. No makeup other than theatrical or special heavy makeup developed for scarring and other severe skin conditions will completely cover rosecea or lines. That's why dermatologists make so much money. I'll never use other makeup.

I have been using this product for approx. 2 months now. I have to say it is a million times better than any liquid foundation I have EVER used. It covers any red spots on on my face when using the max coverage brush first, it covers my under eye darkness very well also. It gives your skin nice coverage with a healthy glow without looking like you are wearing makeup, never any makeup lines and it stays on even when you sweat. I have noticed that sometimes when I sweat my skin aroung my nose area and forehead burns and itches, it doesn't last long and is not enough of a problem for me to stop using it. I recommend that you at least give this product a try, its worth it.

I purchased this product hoping to find a makeup that did not make me look "made up". I suceeded beyond by wildest dreams. I grew up the middle of 3 girls and was the tomboy of the family so I never really wore makeup until later in life. Everything I tried was heavy, time consuming and obvious. Then I found BM and the sister products ID. I am 43 now and my husband says I have never looked better. It takes me all of 5-10 min to apply and all I take along with me for any touch up is Mineral Veil for my t zone. I do not perspire, I sweat. every other product I used wouldn't stay long here in AZ but BM stays like a champ! I have no problems with itching, burning or taking it off at night. I am a fair skinned red head and so have some sensitivities but nothing since starting to use BM. Will NEVER go back to anything else. Am amused at the number of "mineral" make ups on the market now. Must be catching! :) Darlene

Its been 3 weeks I purchased Bare Minerals, and I love it. Feels like I don't have any make up at all. I have many compliments saying how radiant my complextion looks. What I love about this products is when I wash my face and the make up washes off very easliy compare to other make products I have bought in the past.I'm definitly sticking with Bare Minerals.

I really like this foundation! I work as a hair stylist and have found in the past liquid foundations would melt off my face after just a couple hours of blow drying. I had to constantly powder my t-zone to keep from looking greasy. Bare Minerals is the ONLY foundation that stays put and natural looking ALL DAY LONG, with no touch ups. Period! I will never waste my money on another foundation. The only downfall I've found is the mild itching when I perspire. Its very brief and ONLY happens when its hot. This does not happen in cool weather. The mineral veil is too drying in large amounts on my cheeks, so I use this only on my t-zone. Overall, this is the best foundation I've ever tried.

I've always just used makeup that i bought at [] but finally caved in and figured I should spend some money on makeup that might do my face good. I've been using bare minerals foundation, warmth, mineral veil, and the skin rever upper for about a week now and have not only gotten numerous compliments on my skin when i'm wearing the makeup but also have seen improvement when i'm not wearing it. I have very oily, sensitive skin that easily breaks out so I was surprised how much less oily my skin is when im wearing bear minerals. The only con i would give this product is that i wish there were more foundation options. Besides that i am very happy with each product!
