after seeing the informercial i ordered the air climber. then i looked the product up to see more about it, and was almost immediately dissapointed to see all the bad reviews. i had cancelled the gym figuring i can work out at home and save money. well, within four days it came and i couldnt wait to try it out! the first thing i did when i jumped on it was to see if it made a lot of noise. it hardly makes a sound! unless they have improved it since they first came out. people were complaining about it being so loud! i am 180 lbs, and saw on another review if your over 100 lbs, forget it! but hey, this thing is a great workout, and with the cords, you feel it almost immediately! im happy i quit the gym, and im real happy i bought this product. it gets your cardio going pretty fast, and the workouts can be intense, or easier, depending on how you set the dial, and also hold the cords with more or less restraint. overall im very happy

I purchased air climber 3 months ago. It works great. I have no problem raising my heart level to 150 beats per minute. The DVD is also very good. I bought it at a local sports store for $99.00. I would not buy it from the TV infomercials due to all the complaints I read regarding broken parts and poor customer service if there's a problem. For $99.00 and a 90 day return policy from my local sports store, it was a great buy.

I am filing a complaint with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) based on the failure of the manufacturer to disclose on the infomercial a material fact regarding this product: the customer must manually pump up the bellows and no equipment is provided to make this step easy. This product is cheaply made and flimsy -- definitely not worth the $135 price tag. My Air Climber arrived yesteray and I immediately wanted to test it but I couldn't because the bellows were broken or defective. They wouldn't inflate. Piece of junk!

I bought one of these 15-20 years ago when they first produced them and was not able to get another one..I loved it then and am thrilled they came out with it again. PLEASE keep it available! I'll buy extra and keep them in storage if necessary. I LOVE, LOVE the workout. I can stick with this one. If you need to make a longer lasting one for the naysayers, then do it and I will buy that one too.

The work out was great, I loved it at first. Then all of the sudden the billows would not stay inflated. I open it up with a screw driver and noticed the line maitaining pressure to the billows had developed a hole. There was no defect, the line supporting the billows is not made from strong enough material for the product to be used regularly.

I was very excited about system after infomercial. I used it EVERY day for 2 weeks for 30 minutes i weigh 160lbs & am 5ft 3in. I loved it AT FIRST but it is made of all plastic & as it looks it is very cheaply made. It DID NOT LAST on my 3rd week it would inflate with air but once stood on it never would re-inflate. when I called C/S they refused to exchange product.. cheaply made equals short usage.. Wont buy again..

I bought this product and sent it back promptly within 3 weeks of receiving it. The bellows never stay inflated for more than 5 minutes-- I had to stop my workout often to re-inflate them! Was disappointed with this. However customer service was great and gave me instructions on sending back. Prompt credit was given to me once they received it.

I was given this machine and it is FABULOUS! Easy to use, smooth, perfect size to store away, and well built. The only drawback is that I don't have the workout DVD's... and I can't find them online anywhere! If anyone can make me copies, I will pay for them!

well...what can i say. i saw the infomercial on tv, and got caught up in the hype of it. it looked as tho it was a great product, and having never bought anything previously off an infomercial, i threw my caution to the wind, and just gave in at the special price and got it(it was ridiculously expensive, im not sure where people are quoting $100. because mine was double that with shipping) . so later after the "buy now" and get the deal hype or lose it forever! i later looked into it AFTER i purchased it...stupid move? yes...i read terrible reviews on it and my hopes were completly bashed. expecting to recieve something broken or missing, or a product that was soon to become broken after i used it...about a week and a few days later i got it. filled with dread i opened the box...the only thing i can say now that ive actually used the air climer is that really, i thought it was a great workout! the lose 10Lb in 10 days i think is a little far fetched, but anyways i am a begginer, but still in shape, and the videos whipped me! yes it is a little noisey, but as others, i just turned up the volume on the tv. its light weight, portable, and convieniant. im just terrified its going to break sometimes due to its bad rep, but honestly havn't had any problems thus far.

It took me about a month to receive this product. I like it. So far I have not had any real problems with the product. One section is a little lower than the other but it is ok. I like that it is portable. I think it is a little over priced but it is portable.

Listen up america, this air climber is a rip off. If you weigh more than 100 lbs. don't waste your time or money. the bellows don't hold air for more than 10-15 min. It was a very expensive loss. buyer beware!

Very satisfied with the air climber. Haven't had any problems. It's a great workout, really gets my heart rate up and I can really feel the burn with the cords. Haven't had any problems with the bellows, and the noise isn't a problem at all. I use it several times a week. I wanted something that I could take with me to our condo, and be able to carry it up the 3 flights of stairs. It's great!!

Overall Rating for the DVD workouts that come with the system, NOT the Air Climber Machine! Even though I do NOT have the air climber machine, I did purchase the DVD workout that comes with the air climber to use with my existing step machine because I did not know what exercises to do on it, etc.! So, while I can NOT comment on the air climber machine itself, I absolutley LOVE LOVE the workout with Brenda that comes with the system! I am getting a great workout and enjoying myself at the same time! Fun, easy, doesn't take up much space and you really feel the burn in your arms, legs and abs!

It was like I had the perfect tool to wake up everyone at home way to noisy, I would have kept it if it was not that I don't live alone.

I have been using this product for over two months now and I think it's great! I don't use the workout DVD's cause I get bored quickly. I just set it in front of my tv and step away while I watch my favorite shows. I do tend to have to refill the bellows about half way through my hour long workout but that's to be expected, it is plastic. I'm very satisfied with this product!

6/4/2007 - Mamert of Georgia, USA writes:
Bellows are poorly designed. This product would have been a good one if they fix the bellows (they can't keep the air inside. Without solution to this probem, it is a waste of time and money. I do like the product, but I can't keep it.

I am very satisfied with the product. I am getting more and more in shape every day. It works for me perfectly every time I use it. I have lost 8lbs in a month and I am toning up. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

I ordered over the phone and it arrived on time. I was nervous about using it after reading many awful reviews, but it works great. Some people said that it was noisy. It does make noise but it's not loud or offensive. The air climber is plastic, but quite stable. The workout video (though cheaply constructed using a dvdr and jewel case) is great. I followed a routine using the resistance thingys. Awesome. I really feel like I've been working out. I have done it twice so far and am already feeling it in my thighs...which don't respond much to running or roller blading. Sometimes I have to rest my arms, but I don't yet have any muscle there. Very fun. I'm sure some people did receive defective climbers...but I doubt it's the majority. We always hear the bad news first, after all. Love it!

I have been using the Air Climber for a couple months now. The digital computer was broken upon arrival of the product. The product is not made for the intensity of workouts it was designed for. I do enjoy the workouts included on the DVD and find them to get my heart rate up while working my upper and lower body. I would recommend this product to someone who enjoys a low-impact exercise plan if the product was made better. I have lost about 10 lbs using the Air Climber.

5/4/2007 - Jerry of Idaho, USA writes:
It seems like the product could do what the manufacturer claims. In the 15 minutes that I got to spend on the piece of equipment, I did increase my heart rate. The problem being. I only got 15 minutes before the bellows blew out. I will not take advantage of the warrantee as the product is made poorly. And I'm afraid that I would have to return a number of them.
