The air climber works great the first few months, but then I got better so I use it longer. The tube inside overheated and popped. Now it's not inflating anymore. For a $100+ product, they should have build with better material.

I got this product about a month ago. I simply love it. It really does work. It is a great way to mix cadio and resistance training at one time. I haven't had to reinflate too much at all, may be after every 2-3 workouts and only a little bit. I actually look forward doing this workout. I have tried a lot products in the market and this is the best so far. I highly encourage getting this product. I am already seeing results.

Like everyone else I saw this product on TV and wanted to try it. It is a great workout and is also fun. It keeps you going. Unfortunately, you have to inflate it manually and the air does not stay for more than 5 minutes. You have to stop and re-inflate. Thats annoying. I still continue to use it when I need a light workout.

I ordered this product after seeing the infomercial. After recieving it, I almost tossed it aside and didn't try it, however I persisted and followed all instructions, both in the manual and on the DVD. What a workout! Within minutes it raises the heart rate, and by the end of a workout I am truly sweating. The bellows need re-inflating myabe once or twice during a workout, but I can live with that. It is portable, simple to use and makes exercising fun for someone who would never contemplate going to the gym. After six weeks'worth of daily use it still works, gives results you can both see and feel, and gives you a mean workout! Follow the instructions in the guide and in the workout DVD TO THE LETTER and these results can also be yours. Great product!

[] I got an awesome workout! This product has HUGE VALUE!! $100 bucks for a piece of equipment that works as well as a quality $1000 stair stepper? It is what it is it's plastic and its made in China! Its a great deal! Don't complain about what you pay for! The videos are easy, Brenda is frickin' ANNOYING. But a full body workout is easily attainable with ongoing challenge. Doesn't take up any space and its light weight, hence why some people complain about about it being unstable, sorry learn how to step evenly, its not that hard! Would be great if you live in a wintery climate and have limited access to have a challenging workouts over the winter. Perfect from in front TV. I wish I had invented this product. Would recommend to anyone, and would purchase again. Who cares if it breaks in a year it was damn cheap! (Do people have any idea what gym memberships, fitness classes and trainers cost??!!)

I love this product!! I don't usually buy workout machines but my mom got one of these and LOVED it so she gave me hers last time I was visiting and ordered herself a new one. We both use it and LOVE it! I have done all sorts of aerobics and have been a member at several gyms. I like to combine my gym and cardio group exercise with working out at home on the air climber. It's great for people in the city when its just TOO cold to go out and get to the gym. The Super 7 Pump workout is my favorite. BUY THIS and I promise you won't be let down..

Wish I would of read the reviews before I bought this piece of junk. I weigh 180 pounds and the screws broke on me too after on three uses. Sending it back. Don't buy it!! It won't last long!!!

I had been looking forward to receiving this product because I don't have time to go to the gym. When I finally got it I jumped on and found out how cheap this thing really is. The resistance is only enough to work-out a child. The resistance tube connects very poorly and the handle broke at waist-high in the first five minutes of use..yes, the first five minutes!! I immediately returned this product and would highly recommend not to purchase! The all-plastic apparatus is merely worth the material it cost to make it--no joke.

This Air Climber is made so cheap. It only was was made out of something else. I was happy to get it, got it home and started working out and the screws started coming out. I weight 180 and this shouldnt do this. The bands they give you are crap too. Don't spend your money, not worth it

I received the Air Climber as a gift. I was very excited when I heard about what it does. When I opened the box I thought it looked cheap. BUT hey, you never know, so I tried it out. At first I really enjoyed the workout. I wondered why my air climber made those noises, but whatev right. Okay I got over that. Then I started working out with the DVD and enjoyed it until I realized that the arm bands are not the same as the ones seen on tv/dvd. I am very disappointed by that, because I do not believe I am getting the same workout. There are other issues I am having with this machine as well. I now believe that this is a cheap piece of crap, that is not worth purchasing. Please do not waste you money, you will regret it.

I'm a walker -- either 3 miles on treadmill or 3 miles outside and was always frustrated that I didn't get enough upper body workout. I saw this product in one my local stores and was happy to see that it addressed both cardio and strength at the same time. I bought it and I am having a blast using it! I think it is a fun workout and I sweat, after five minutes, about like I do when using the treadmill for an hour! Also, Brenda keeps stressing to "press through the heels" when stepping. I made a conscious effort to do that and noticed something after three workouts -- my feet did not feel like ice (I always have to wear socks -- even in the summer) and the tendonitis, in both my heels, seems to have improved. I'm actually able to touch my own feet! I've only been able to last about five minutes and look forward to working my way up through a complete workout!

after seeing the informercial i ordered the air climber. then i looked the product up to see more about it, and was almost immediately dissapointed to see all the bad reviews. i had cancelled the gym figuring i can work out at home and save money. well, within four days it came and i couldnt wait to try it out! the first thing i did when i jumped on it was to see if it made a lot of noise. it hardly makes a sound! unless they have improved it since they first came out. people were complaining about it being so loud! i am 180 lbs, and saw on another review if your over 100 lbs, forget it! but hey, this thing is a great workout, and with the cords, you feel it almost immediately! im happy i quit the gym, and im real happy i bought this product. it gets your cardio going pretty fast, and the workouts can be intense, or easier, depending on how you set the dial, and also hold the cords with more or less restraint. overall im very happy

I purchased air climber 3 months ago. It works great. I have no problem raising my heart level to 150 beats per minute. The DVD is also very good. I bought it at a local sports store for $99.00. I would not buy it from the TV infomercials due to all the complaints I read regarding broken parts and poor customer service if there's a problem. For $99.00 and a 90 day return policy from my local sports store, it was a great buy.

11/29/2007 - Jeannie of California, USA writes:
I am filing a complaint with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) based on the failure of the manufacturer to disclose on the infomercial a material fact regarding this product: the customer must manually pump up the bellows and no equipment is provided to make this step easy. This product is cheaply made and flimsy -- definitely not worth the $135 price tag. My Air Climber arrived yesteray and I immediately wanted to test it but I couldn't because the bellows were broken or defective. They wouldn't inflate. Piece of junk!

I bought one of these 15-20 years ago when they first produced them and was not able to get another one..I loved it then and am thrilled they came out with it again. PLEASE keep it available! I'll buy extra and keep them in storage if necessary. I LOVE, LOVE the workout. I can stick with this one. If you need to make a longer lasting one for the naysayers, then do it and I will buy that one too.

The work out was great, I loved it at first. Then all of the sudden the billows would not stay inflated. I open it up with a screw driver and noticed the line maitaining pressure to the billows had developed a hole. There was no defect, the line supporting the billows is not made from strong enough material for the product to be used regularly.

I was very excited about system after infomercial. I used it EVERY day for 2 weeks for 30 minutes i weigh 160lbs & am 5ft 3in. I loved it AT FIRST but it is made of all plastic & as it looks it is very cheaply made. It DID NOT LAST on my 3rd week it would inflate with air but once stood on it never would re-inflate. when I called C/S they refused to exchange product.. cheaply made equals short usage.. Wont buy again..

I bought this product and sent it back promptly within 3 weeks of receiving it. The bellows never stay inflated for more than 5 minutes-- I had to stop my workout often to re-inflate them! Was disappointed with this. However customer service was great and gave me instructions on sending back. Prompt credit was given to me once they received it.
