I have to say this product worked for me. I am a mother of two (my youngest is 6) and I was needing something to help me get myself back on track and back in shape. I lost 40 lbs over about 4 months. I went from a size 12 back to a 4. It definitely takes commitment and is not a "quick fix" it is a lifestyle change. I would recommend this product to anyone who truly wants to change the way they treat their body. I didn't do all of the excercises recommended but I did make a point to walk and do sit ups. My husband is in the military so he has to keep fit and of course he helped me through the process. I was very happy with my results.

This program really does work. I find it hard to eat 6 times a day but that amount is 3 regular portions divided throughout the day. I noticed too that all the bad carbs are cut out which explains the FAST weight loss for my body type. It's a good program and I recommend it to anyone who has a weight problem because it is healthy, you gain a lot of energy and you loose the weight without starving without the potions and fake pills and without exercising. The only negative thing I have to say is you have to find the time to make and eat all these meals. Oh, and it can be a little pricey.

I'm a visual person and like to keep track of my progress. For this type of personality this product is great. Although, I did not obsess, nor followed it to the letter I managed to lose weight. I tried the recipes and made changes to give them more taste. I would recommend this product

The program is a bit on the expensive side, but if you follow the program to the letter, you WILL lose weight. I'm pretty weak willed where diets are concerned. I lost 12 lbs. the first week. I only stayed on the plan for 3 weeks because it was hard for me to eat so often! In spite of that, I continued to lose weight until I had lost 27 lbs., even after going off the diet. I kept the weight off for 4 years. Lately, I've developed a sugar addiction, and have gained about 12 lbs. I'm gearing myself up to jump back on the program. If you commit to the program, it does everything it says it will do. I don't know about customer service, because I didn't want to return it.

This program worked for me. I like that you answer some questions to determine which of the 5 eating plans to use (I'm a C). It took a while to get used to eating 5 times a day. I'm a vegetarian & had to adapt the program to use tofu & vegetarian meats like Boca burgers for the protein. I didn't really use his exercise program, but tried to work out every day for at least 30 minutes. I lost 15 lbs in 8 weeks, but gained it back when I quit the program and got lazy with my workouts. I'm going to start the program again. I also liked the online support []. The diet principles make sense, but like anything, you have to follow it to get results.

With that in mind I think this can work for anyone that really wants a life change.I recieve so many compliments from my extreme body change it keeps me going. I recomend this to anyone who wants to learn how to boost your metabolisim and really make a change Good Luck!

This is what happened with me: My husband and I (Both of us are 56 yrs old)went on this as a contest, mostly for my friend because she is obesely over weight and now has diabetes and walking problems. We wanted to help her. So, She needed to lose 150#, I needed to lose 30# and my husband needed to lose 30#. Hubby and I were serious about this and we stayed on the Rapid Results part of the menu card for (believe this or not - but it is true) 18 WEEKS. One day a week we splurged a little more. If we ate too much more- we felt sick. We both always ate twice as much salad as listed. We were rarely hungary and only craved a few times in the beginning for sweets. If we did we would have a piece of gum or small sweet. It was harder for him to get used to less salt because he always added xtra in the past to his regular meals. It was not too hard for me and after awhile it was nice to get the real taste of food again. My husband lost all the weight+ he had wanted ... from 210# to 177#. I went from 160# to 133# .. I did not lose that last 3#. With summer coming on and taking the grandkids to the beach I quit being so strict with myself. MY FRIEND ... tried to eat the egg whites the first day and said she just couldn't get them down. Nothing she added, like salsa, helped. She didn't like tuna, her stomach doesn't tolerate most kinds of lettuce, she thinks it's hard to fix those little meals if you have to work outside the home (gee how did we do it?). I think the same thing happened to my friend AGAIN! She didn't have a "WANT TO". I know that I am going to lose my friend soon because she is now to the point where she may have to be buried in a piano box. But I love my friend and I would love to see her 4ft 11 inch frame at 95#, the way she was when I met her 27yrs ago. As for my husband and I .. We have gained half of our weight back and so we said today that we are going to do the Make-Over again but probably bump it up to the GourmetMenu and still double the salad !!! Thank you to the 6week inventors! It's the one that worked for us.

After losing 105# on my own in about a year, I decided to try the 6WBMO product. When I bought it, the going price was $150. I tried it three times. The first time I managed to stay with it for three weeks two days (23 days), and nearly starved: I also gained tens pounds. On the 23rd day I was so hungry that I bought a pizza and ate it. I had not eaten pizza or any bread product in over a year, having discovered that I am very allergic to wheat and most other grains (and also chicken). The next day I started over on the program, determined to stick to it and give it at least a full six-week trial. Well, I stayed on the program faithfully for a full thirteen (13) weeks. I did the exercise sets twice a week as the manual says you can for turbo body-sculpting results. The result? I lost NO weight, including the ten pounds gained during the first three-week trial; I lost NO fat, anywhere; I lost NO inches, anywhere; I observed NO reshaping or resculpting of Any body parts. I was unable to do the walking everyday; however, I did do the walking faithfully three times per week, including being very careful to watch and count my breathing and check my heart rate at intervals. I did not try to return the product as I really liked the exercise info and the recipes really were not too bad. Most of the recipes are rather easy and not too time consuming. I do believe, however, that it would be a lot easier, more effective, less stressful, less time-consuming if one had someone else to cook for them. You do spend too much time in food handling, but not because of the recipes. I have a full-time, total-care family member to feed and care for, and the only way I was able to keep up with the food preparation was because he was in a day program several days a week. For having ready food on hand, I roasted a couple of turkey breasts at a time, tore them up, weighed, packaged, and froze the packages. As far as the hunger? I was hungry constantly! I had not been hungry while losing the 100+ pounds before buying the product. The standard advice is that it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to realize that your body has consumed food. That didn't happen for me. I would wait the 20-30 minutes, then still hungry, would find myself clock watching until the next two and a half hours had passed. The only other time I've clock watched while dieting was on a particular program which required that one eat at specified intervals: four hours between breakfast and lunch, six hours between lunch and dinner; then after several weeks, for another week, five hours between meals. The third time I tried this program, the following year, I stayed with it for two and a half weeks. I saw no results whatsoever. I also found in one of my reference books that: (1) 40% of the protein in an egg is in the yolk, including ALL of the Essential amino acids (only non-essential amino acids are found in the white); (2) unless essent-ial amino acids are available at the same time as non-essential amino acids are consumed, the body will not utilize the non-essential amino acids, nor will it even store them for future use when essential amino acids become available. Therefore, eating egg whites without the yolks is a waste of effort and does nothing to protect your body's structural proteins, but rather allows them to be further depleted. The eating of greens for a mid-morning snack was not exactly the most pleasant thing, but it wasn't completely distasteful as I was used to eating for break-fast greens leftover from the previous night's dinner. Oh yes, the infomercial and the liter-ature claim that your energy level will increase. NOPE. My energy level actually decreased significantly. How did I lose the weight before trying this product? I ate a ton of greens in a variety of ways, with a lot of ginger and garlic, and some cinnamon or coriander, eggs, some turkey, some beef, a lot of lamb or goat, and a lot of fish, and yogurt, and being careful to drink at least 1/2 ounce of plain, ambient-temperature water per pound of body weight every day. I don't know why this program works for the many people who claim it has worked for them, or why it didn't work for me. I can't get any other family members to try it so that I can see if it works for them just because it didn't work for me.

I have read some of the previews on the six week body make over and i can tell you from my experiance.. it works! BUT.. you can't be lazy about it! if you want to lose weight you have to stick with the program! Some complain that the food is to bland because of no salt.. a little,.. true.. but suck it up and tough it out! How do you expect to lose weight eating salty fatting food? All I hear is a bunch of whiners crying about how bad their food tastes, it's really not that bad. Do I want to salt my food...yes! Of course it will taste better, but when your on a "diet" that means sacrificing a few things, because you want to get that weight off. To the complainers I say... the food is more important to you then getting healthy and dropping pounds! I feel great on this eating plan.. I have so much energy.. my mind is clear.. and I have a big boost of confidence. I have been on it for only 3 weeks and lose 13 pounds. The food choices are somewhat limited, and I know I won't eat like this the rest of my life, so therefore I can handle it for the time being. I allow a glass of wine occasionally and do I get hungry..yes! Do I find it annoying cooking twice a week and packing my meals everyday at work and eating every 3 hour...YES! But hey, I want to lose this fat and feel and look great so if that what it takes... I do it! Nothing comes from nothing, so if you want to lose weight, this plan works if you STICK with it and do exactly what it says!

I bought this product because over the past few years I had balooned up from 120 lbs to 145 lbs, I had no control over my eating and simply needed to do something. I was exercising constantly to no avail. What got me was the 50 yr old woman in the commercial who said she was working out 2 hours a day every day & still not losing any fat. That was me. So I bought it even at the risk of my boyfriend laughing at me for buying something off of an infomercial. I lost 6 lbs in the first week and have been consistent in losing 1 & 1/2 lbs a week since. I do an hour of cardio 5 times a week and strength training 2-4 times a week. I follow their recommendation on the cardio at keeping your heart rate at a lower target. I do my own strength training exercises. The diet can be a little bland at first, but the people who have rated it and said it was horrible because of that just have not tried hard enough. Fresh ground pepper, No-Salt & Mrs Dash are necessities. I stick to the eating schedule 5 days a week. It is way to hard to keep on it on the weekends, at least for me. I was super strict with the diet for the first 4 weeks. Since then I've introduced some pasta her & there, maybe a cheeseburger, maybe some ice cream. You don't have to deny yourself on this as long as you don't go overboard. You won't get as dramatic results with the cheating here & there. But it is working for me and slow and steady weight loss while enjoying myself is a whole lot better that dramatic weight loss that I cannot maintain. I love this program and have gotten a bunch of friends & family memebers to buy it too.

I purchased this in April, I weighed 141, tomorrow is July 29th, my wedding day, and I weigh 126. I had to have my dress taken in all over, it fits like a glove! This progam is the ONLY one I have ever tried that I could really do and it worked. Plus, I even cheated on the weekends~! You HAVE to do the exercises though because it helps shape you. Mostly dont eat butter, salt, or bread. Eat oatmeal twice a day with strawberries in it. AWESOME!

There's no question this diet works if you have the desire and dedication to lose the weight. The hardest part for me is keeping the kitchen stocked with all the food I need to have handy. The only thing I miss is salt, but there are many tasty alternatives. The forums are a huge bonus, filled with great menu ideas and friendly support. My body type is the most restricted and I have no trouble coming up with delicious meals. For lunch I had taco salad (tastily prepared ground turkey meat on a bed of lettuce and fresh tomatoes) and a side of spanish rice. Whats wrong with that? The band exercises are easy to do. I have trouble doing cardio since I have bad knee joints, but I'm still losing weight.

I have always been overweight but when my weight topped 200 at 5'9" .. I decided to finally do something. Now, I have tried A LOT of diets in the past - really if you would like me to review them I will :) Atkins was easy to follow at first but I never really felt good on it. South Beach didn't work for me either. Weight Watchers .. I didn't like counting points. OH .. one big one .. DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT order Nutrisystem .. yuck! Their food is absolutely terrible and it actually made me sick. So anyway, I saw an infomercial for 6WBM one night and ordered. I ordered this about 3 years ago and LOVED it. I can't really remember how long shipping, etc. took. But the diet really does work. I'll be honest .. I'm not a big fan of exercise so I didn't do any of that. One thing, once you start dieting you just start to feel better and actually want to do something. I ended up taking walks after a couple of weeks on the diet. I lost almost 30 pounds in less than two months. I would have lost more but I went on vacation at an all-inclusive resort and couldn't resist the temptation to drink and eat! I did end up gaining the weight back .. but this is almost 3 years later. I just have no motivation! So I guess my point is .. great diet w/ fabulous results. Best "feel good" diet. My only complaint .. PRICE! Although I love the product ..$125 is a lot of money for a diet. Thanks :)

I read all the remarks regarding this product before I bought. I decided to try it and found the my body was shed inches and pounds before I even noticed it. My clothes fit looser and my hunger schedule changing around the meal plans. It does take work, just like it took laziness (no work) to gain the weight. But if your will to stay creative about your food varieties you will see results. Food only diets never worked for me. I saw results and I don't even workout as often as suggested. If your willing to commit to doing what every it takes to get the body you desire then try it. If your half hearted, save yourself the time and money.

This program, yes program, it is not a "DIET" is the only program out there for "ALL" who need to lose weight. It is not a canned, one size fits all program like all others on the market today. It is designed to deal with each person individually. We all didn't come out of the same mold, or have the same genes, so why on earth would one assume, that what works for one person works for all, that simply can not happen. This program has overcome that problem, by scoping out the persons individual metabolism. By finding how your body processes foods and what kids of foods, best suit that particular metabolism, Michael Thurmond has provided a way for EVERYONE, to obtain the goal weight that is healthiest for them. Many start and then stop because it's too much "work". I don't see it, I cook one day a week, and have everything at my fingertips, what could be easier than that? Many stop, because the claim it's too expensive, I found just the opposite, you buy basically the same foods you always did; for the home, I am not talking fast food junk here; you just prepare them differently than you used to. Bottom line, it's not for the "two day dieter", it is however, for those that have committed to making a life change for the sake of their health, it simply is not more expensive in foods than you already spend, in fact knock out all that junk food, and it is absolutely cheaper than your currently spending! I have deliberately taken the program to three different Dr's. and they all said with gusto .. 100% go for it! The real bottom line is your health, the rest is inconsequencial, or to me it is. I want to be here to see my grandchildren born, and my children attain all that they can be. I want good health so that I am not one of my childrens burdens in life. This program gives me the oportunity to have that and much more! Initially it is a bit of work, but after the first week, and I am sorry, but I am worth much more than a week, it's a piece of cake .. no pun intended. For me it was the only thing I have seen on TV recently that was worth my time as a viewer! As for the initial cost of between $100.00 - $129.99, I am worth that and much more, and my family all agrees. Other than the births of my children, this was the best thing to ever come into my life.

If you can follow this plan, and really dedicate yourself to preparing all of the food- including your own condiments from scratch, then you will succeed. Unless you have nothing better to do than prepare food, and eat every 3 hours, this plan will eventually become too burdensome to follow. Some people have done great on it and kept the weight off. I commend them because the food is VERY limited. You can't even use cooking spray on this plan. I lost 30 lbs in about 8 weeks on the plan- and that was with a little cheating here and there. I gained all the weight back because I am not disciplined enough to follow this for the rest of my life. They say you "eat more"- NOT TRUE. What they should say is you "Eat more times a day". You definitely do NOT eat more food on this plan. But you do have to eat every 3 hours- very small portions.

I tried it, and I lost about 7 pounds. Of course I gained it right back after a week or so, but it served it's purpose (I wanted to lose weight for an event). I did not finish it though. In the middle of the second day I gave up because I was hungry. It also said don't smoke on this diet, I cut back, but still smoked. It didn't seem to affect me at all.

If you are SERIOUS and ready to put forth all the work, it will drops those pounds. If you are a casual dieter, try another program and save your money. QUICK review: Bland food, time consuming, too expensive. I did lose 20 pounds just following the diet for 2 weeks, so it works. It is basically a very common sense diet. Eat foods in combination with each other, take out all convince food, no fats, salts, sugars, no simple carbs, only lean meats, and eat small meals frequently through out the day. It does organize the heck out of your diet though (no way you fail unless you really dont want to continue on the diet). Basic diet: No salt, sugar, or dairy, a lot of egg whites (with no salt, yuck), turkey (not the pre packaged kind, too much sodium) and veggies & fruits , and just about everything on the diet HAS to be cooked from scratch.

I bought this product 5 years ago & have used it 3 times. Losing in excess of 40 pounds (each time). Once, before my wedding, then after each of my childrens births. This is the healthiest program I've ever tried, it's nutrition 101. If you have the will (you can do ANYTHING for 6 weeks) you can do this. My energy SOARS on this program!! I disagree it's too expensive to follow. Fruits, vegetables & lean meats are no more expensive than Chopmeat helper or take out. My kids eat how I do so they're eating the best the Earth can offer. Even my husband, (who won't try) can't HELP but reap benefits. I get him to grill almost everything & he winds up eating less fat because of it. $100 is well worth the try & all the answers are yours 4ever at your finger tips to always go back to if you need it.

If you're serious, have time and have money - this works! We got this 2 years ago and my boyfriend lost 30lbs and I lost 27. It took from Feb 1,2005 to May 18,2005 (the day we left for vacation) to do it. (More than 6 weeks, but we didn't follow it to a T).Since then he gained 20 of his back and I gained 12(5 just in the last month from binge eating). We started again 4 days ago and have lost 4lbs each. Eating healthy means spending more money. I don't sit down at night until 9-9:30. I come home from work, make dinner, then prepare the indiviual containers for both of us for the next day. These containers are the key. You're eating all the time and they keep us from reaching for the junk. We've tried the carb diets, zone diets and starvation diets - none of them compare. If you're willing to spend the time, money and effort-this works!
