No more chicken or fish!!

10/27/2008 - Linda of New Jersey, USA writes:

This might have worked. I don't know. I tried it for a week and did not lose any weight. Usually you at least lose water weight the first week! I just could not continue. I was sick of eating chicken or fish all day long, every day!

If you really want a change...

10/19/2008 - SMSC of California, USA writes:

...then try this lifestyle fitness and eating plan. I have not done any of the fitness routine except to walk three to four times a week for 45 minutes to one hour. I am lazy about cooking and although I do I keep chicken strips and apples handy as I like these for the between meals meals. This plan works because you are never hungry. You eat five to six times a day, every 2.5 to three hours. Anyone on any shift can do that by simply starting their day with a meal and sticking to eating at these regular intervals. Keeps your metabolism going and your blood sugar steady. After a while you get used to the rhythm and know it's now time to eat. The package purchased from the website included the membership at the support forum, which also included an extensive, I mean really large, database of recipes you can print off or download to your computer. At the support site are different areas for beginners, people doing another round and folks who have moved on to the next step. They form buddy groups and you can view success pictures for many people there. My husband and I both did this plan as he didn't have enough energy for construction work and was getting that middle-aged middle while I broke my back some years ago and have weight from that experience that I could never get to come off. We both had great energy on this plan and we both lost not only the outside fat, but the visceral fat resting near heart and lungs and at our age, this is good news. So far I've come down 60 pounds since July 1, 2008. I am eating more than enough good protein, vegetables, fruits, heck, even 'taters! The recipes I did try are great and we save money on the things that we don't eat and as a result don't buy - candy, chips, snacks, sodas, beer, cakes, pies, etc. You all know that list! I am staying on the plan until I get down an entire 100 pounds and then I move onto the next step. My strategy for that is to eat the same plan and pig out once a week. Yes! That is one way you can do the next step - lol! I love it!

Working for me

9/29/2008 - Audrey of WI, USA writes:

I've been using the product for a week now and I really love it. I'm down 8 lbs and after feeling hungry the first few days I've adjusted and feel great. The meals are really easy, I cook for a couple of days at a time. Bake a pan with a couple pieces of fish, chicken breast and a dozen or so shrimp. I have a couple of bags of mixed veggies in the freezer I heat and eat and I cooked potatoes, yams, rice and put them in serving sized baggies. I also made a big bag of salad mix to keep in the fridge. Fruit is simple to slice and keep in tupperware. It takes a lot of work on the weekend but the rest of the week I just grab and eat. Since veggies are a freebie I roasted garlic, onions, and mushrooms to top my potatoes and made salsa for the rice and fish. The meal plan makes it really easy and if you get a little creative it's very tasty too. I have been able to lose weight on other plans but I need the guidance that this plan offers. I don't really mind cooking half the day Sunday because the rest of the week I can just grab - 1 protein, 1 veggie, & 1 starch..... etc. The exercise program is not too difficult after you get through the learning period. If you stick to this program the results are fantastic. The only thing I didn't like was that when I called to purchase the program I had to listen to their sales pitches for a dozen other products.... almost put me off from buying it at all but I'm glad I did.

Very Hard to Follow

9/2/2008 - cammie of NJ, United States writes:

From someone who loves good food this was a difficult program to follow. I believe it would have worked if I stuck to it. After 2 weeks I lost 10 pounds, most likely in water weight. It was very difficult because the food it has you cook was not permitted to have any sugar and salt. Food tended to have no flavor and was hard to choke down. It comes with a work out program that works but it very hard. After two weeks I broke down in tears and quit. Wasn't worth the frustration.

Not for me!

8/26/2008 - Christine of Washington, USA writes:

I ordered this product almost a year ago and was so excited when the box came. The bottom line is that I not only didn't lose weight but was very discouraged with the amount of time and money needed to be successful. The meal plans were boring as they were the same things day after day and took too much time to prep. Then the weight loss pills were charged to my bank account every month for pills that didn't work and it took several phone calls to get them to stop. The exercises that targeted specific muscle groups did not work unless you do more reps than suggested. May be a great product for someone who has lots of spare time and doesn't value variety of meal plans. Not worth the money I paid.

Hope you like Tuna for breakfast!

7/21/2008 - Andy of TX, United States writes:

I see plenty of folks here that consider this a great program and I'm happy for them. Perhaps it is because of my particular body shape but alas, my choices of what to eat every morning is tuna or an egg. Don't get me wrong, I like eggs but not every day and the other option is out of the question. I barely tolerate tuna at all, much less for breakfast! This was a complete waste of money.

IT Works!

7/19/2008 - Karen of MA, USA writes:

Yes this program works. You do have to do a lot of cooking, but if you take one day out of the week to prepare all your foods (Like a Sunday), and weigh and baggie your foods for the week, its a piece of cake (No pun intended). There is a forum called [] that has tons of recipes to try, and each recipe tells you when to eat for your body type. You will not be bored with all the recipes, and some of them are out of this world. Give it a try and you won't be sorry. It truely works.

Difficult but worth it

7/6/2008 - Lisa of Michigan, us writes:

My husband and I purchased this to do together. It made it easier to keep to the limited food selection. My husband is on the road during the day and finds it more difficult. I've lost approx 20 lbs in 7 weeks. I now know what I need to do to shave off those extra pounds.

Stay away!

6/24/2008 - Jodi of Delaware, USA writes:

After paying too much for the program, I found it was ridiculously difficult to follow. I have used[] in the past and had success, however this program was a huge dud for me. Difficult to follow, and not enough food choices.

Excited about the New Me!

6/20/2008 - Kiah of Florida, USA writes:

I must admit reading the other ratings have me unsure of what Im in for. Im a college student eager to lose weight! I've tried EVERY DIET known to man kind. I work out at least 3 times a week but haven't been able to shed the "freshman & now sophomore" 30 that I aquired over the last 2 years. A friend of mine purchased the 6wbmo & I decided to follow her plan "loosely," after a week I lost 6 lbs & just felt empowered. I'm looking forward to the great results that I've already witnessed.

Worked Fine But...

6/1/2008 - Michael of New York, USA writes:

...I didn't pay full price. First off, I lost 9 pounds in 9 days and then slacked off a bit but in about three weeks I was down 16.5 pounds. The system works like a charm, as long as you are religious about drinking the recommended amount of water, but as far as the price goes, I looked on a certain internet bookseller, found the book for $3.95, and used that. Same information but a lot cheaper.

Excellent Program

5/18/2008 - Sherry of Washington State, United States writes:

I was a total skeptic before actually trying it out. I liked how it determines your body type and then bases your diet after that type. I am not going to lie and say it is easy - it is not. It takes a lot of detemrination but after losing 30 pounds in almost three months with no exercise, this program worked for me. It is very important you follow your plan exactly (at least until you get to your ideal weight) and read the manual carefully. This is a life change not just a one time diet. Good luck to you.

Love it

5/12/2008 - Jaime of Maryland, USAQ writes:

I have been on the 6wbmo program for 11 days now and I absolutely love it. I cannot imagine how much more great I am going to feel by week 6. I have lost 11 pds in this short of time, and have alot more energy and overall just feel so much better. I didnt think I was or could be a very disciplined person, but after seeing results, just thinking about cheating or eating sweets like I use to just makes me feel weird. This is a lifestyle change with healthier food, so its not like you are eating pills and starving yourself. I have yet to be hungry on this and I dont feel the preparation is that hard, just make all of it ahead of time, if you really want to weigh less, lose inches, feel better and stop being lazy, then I think you can find the time to eat better and prepare your food ahead of time. I would and have recommended it. I am a type C and my friend is a Type B, she has already lost 9 pds as well in the 12 days she has been on it. This is a great plan if you just give it a try. I got my package off of [] for 60$ so I cannot complain about the price. Hope this helps for anyone who is on the fence about trying it.

Great Program, Need Discipline

5/3/2008 - Laura of Delaware, USA writes:

This is a great program overall. If you get it just to learn about what foods you should eat for your body type, it is still worth it. It is a healthy program. You are not hungry throughout the day as you're eating each 2.5 to 3 hrs. It absolutely works! I've never felt better in my life. I've got a ton of energy, my mood is improved, I've lost weight and all in a healthy way that lasts because it teaches you what kinds of foods to eat for your body type. It isn't a diet at all, it changes your thinking, educates you, and explains exactly what to do. There are additional recipes on the web so you can have a variety. The challenges are that you really need to have discipline to follow the program especially in the beginning as you have to cut down on things you may really like. Also, you have to be willing to prepare all the food and be able to find the time and find the time to eat 4 - 6 times a day. If you do it though, it will make you feel great! The best part is, even if you just learn about what you should eat and educate yourself on the program, it will work even if you don't follow it stringently. It just may work a lot slower. The closer you follow it the better you will feel and the faster the weight will come off.

Stop using the word "DIET"

3/15/2008 - jill of Ohio, USA writes:

This program will work for you, if you make the decision to commit to it and to yourself. One thing that I am reading too much of is the word, "Diet". This program is not a diet, it's a lifestyle change. Until you are ready to commit to that change, you will never see results...period. As far as the food is too restrictive complaints, food is a fuel used by our bodies to survive. Food is not entertainment, food is not our best friend, etc, etc. Until we get that through our heads we will continue to be a nation of fat and obese unhappy, unhealthy people. And, yes, you do have to move your fat around to make it disappear...you have to exercise!!! No, it's not hours a day in the gym like I've done in the past. All you have to do is a half hour or so a day. Do it while your watching the infomercial!

Change of Life Style

2/24/2008 - Jeff of Florida, USA writes:

This program is complete magic. For first time since I can remember my abs are beginning to peak through my (shrinking) stomach. Not even when I was in highschool could I see my abs. This is not a starvation diet where you can't eat dairy or salt, it does take effort to do, and yes there is some (very easy) reading to do in preparation for the program. It is designed to re-teach you how to eat and do so correctly. Like achieving anything in life, It does take an amount of effort and some sacrifice. But at the same time I found it to be very interesting and even fun learning about how food works and reacts in the body. I feel really powerful and in control when I eat now, knowing how what I am putting in my mouth is going to react. It does restrict dairy and sodium during the diet itself (until your target weight and body shape is reached. This could be the six weeks or longer depending on your goals. Mine took nine weeks to get 37 pounds) But once you achieve your target- there is a whole section on how to maintain your success and it is during this time dairy and sodium and even alcohol are re-introduce. Obviously not in heaping amounts but you can and will eat cheese or drink milk again. I have even cheated big time. A few times during the program I've ordered the burger and fries or gone out for a few drinks and I still was able to maintain the program. In fact my cheating was even more motivation to get back on track. The point I am trying to make is, out of all the weight loss infomercials that are full of hot air on TV, this one works and relatively fast as well. Not only do you get to eat a lot but there is also a lot variety and creativity in what you eat. There is no magic wand that'll let you eat high fat and high calorie foods at every meal and keep you skinny and great looking with no exercise. I def recommend it.

I Love This Product!

2/3/2008 - Marilyn of California, USA writes:

I have tried everything and this works! It is a little work but if I follow it, I feel satisfied and healthy. I can feel the difference! I have been on several vacations last year and even through the holidays I have slipped a little hear and there, but as soon as I get back on the program the weight just falls back off. It did take me a little longer to lose the initial 30 pounds. it was more like 12 weeks. BUT, I would not trade what I have learned from this program for anything. Keep up the great work. Again it works if you really want it too!

Too little food

1/20/2008 - Grace of Virginia, USA writes:

I did not acutally purchase this product, but borrowed it from a friend at work who, along with her husband, had great results. I did not last more than 1 evening and 1/2 the next day on this product! I tend to get light headed if I do not eat frequently, and after following for 1 day (and cheating a little with the portions as well), I litterally thought I was going to pass out at work! I think it was the "no carbs" plan for breakfast that really got me. I gave this three stars, because I know a couple people who have really gotten results from this product. I found it compleatly unsustainable, however, and am REALLY glad I didn't shell ou the money to buy it myself.

IT WORKS!

1/12/2008 - care of New York, USA writes:

This is very expensive, but well worth the price. You have to be committed to this product. If you buy, follow it and it will work. I did not use the food, I found the food part a bit difficult, so I cooked sensibly. I followed the cards, targeted all the right areas and I am pleased. Don't buy it if you are not going to follow their instructions. Happy customer
